Welcome to our new program year at our Friendship Tea in the Dunphy garden. This event is free to everyone. We welcome all guests.
Member Workshop - Members will create arrangements on-site, enjoying Tango music and dancers.
Member Participation- Members design expressive Morimono arrangements, using materials like fruit, vegetables, flowers, dried leaves, and roots.
Grace Foster Pollard demonstrates Shodo, introducing the artistic expression of brush calligraphy and its relationship to Ikebana flower arranging, with a workshop to follow.
A demonstration by Aurora Glaze, using midollino sticks to build structures to enhance Ikebana arrangements, followed by a workshop.
Kang Lee Sheppard will demonstrate Japanese watercolor painting, and participants will have an opportunity to practice designing watercolor flowers.
We welcome Jane for a demonstration, followed by an optional workshop.
