Our Friendship Tea was in the Dunphy garden. Excellent weather and great to catch up after the summer.
Member Workshop - Members will create arrangements on-site, enjoying Tango music and dancers.

Member Participation- Members design expressive Morimono arrangements, using materials like fruit, vegetables, flowers, dried leaves, and roots.
Grace Foster Pollard demonstrates Shodo, introducing the artistic expression of brush calligraphy and its relationship to Ikebana flower arranging, with a workshop to follow.
Members divided up into groups by their Ikebana schools. Ikenobo and Sogetsu were represented.
The first person selects a container and materials, then has 5 minutes to make an arrangement. The next person selects a container and materials to make an arrangement to complement the first arrangement. The last person also does an arrangement to complement the others.
Kang Lee Sheppard will demonstrate Japanese watercolor painting, and participants will have an opportunity to practice designing watercolor flowers.
We welcome Jane for a demonstration, followed by an optional workshop.
